a very kind friend of mine was giving his help to make this new look of my blog. highly appreciate it.

however, i am not a person who can be easily amused. my friend reckons the new appearance is already in its best artistic look possible. but with all due respect, i beg to differ.

on the one hand, i do like the general look of it. i also agree that the picture suits the blog's theme, although in the beginning it gave an impression more like a masochist' blog :D

but on the other hand, i am not too satisfied with some minor details of its appearance. maybe i just don't have that artistic sense, as my friend just said. even so, i do have the right to express my preference, haven't i?

first of all, i still believe that somehow the width of the left part - the writing space - should be made wider. not too wide though, just a little bit. artistic wise, maybe it already looks nice the way it is now. but when it comes to consider the length of the entry, it would make a short entry looks longer. even a simple short paragraph might look too long. then it would be tiring to read it. besides, such small space gives me claustrophobic effects: dizzy and suffocated.

secondly, i have a brief intro on the right part of the blog. the intro should contain 8 separated lines explaining the reason why the blog has existed in the first place. with the look we have now, do you see any 8 separated lines? could you identify where one line ends and the next begins? roughly you could do it, but maybe not in a one go. so, do you find it confusing? ah, or maybe it's just me.

thirdly, still about the detail on the right side. but this one is actually not too significant. i just see the different colour of the intro part is a bit annoying. and the position of it and its following items are too far down below.

last but not least, i miss my shout box and disclaimer. i don't know why my friend didn't put them on. i couldn't help but wonder, is it still another artistic reason or he simply forgot to paste the scripts?

well, that's more or less my own opinion on the new look of my blog. to some extent, i can be a very demanding person, but i don't want to sound like an ungrateful person, coz basically i like the new look and i find it pretty cool. though i am sure i will like it more if my friend could make further adjustment here and there. thank you :)

so, what do you think about this new look? any constructive comments would be highly appreciated. please, anyone?
